Gap Filler Radar Stations, Various

Dear Sirs:

Confirming telephone conversation between your Mr GD Pearson and our Mr WR Alexander on 9 November 1962 regarding the termination of construction at the various Gap Filler Radar Stations, it is requested that the following documents be expedited:

  1. DCL 51s for Tower Foundations, Buildings and Services

  2. List of Work Completed (may be included in DCL51).

  3. List of Work Not Completed (may be appendix to DCL 51).

  4. List of Material Stored and Location

  5. As Built Drawings showing Work Completed or Not Completed

  6. Final Change Orders

  7. Keys.

Plans and specifications are now being prepared for issue to DCL on or about 1 February 1963, or when financial approval has been received, for the purpose of completing all these projects between July 1963 and July 1964. These plans and specifications are being based on the information supplied in the above documents. The delay in receiving this information will seriously affect the completion dates if not received before 30 November 1962.

A summary is attached showing the present status of these documents for your information.
