Dear Sir:
As requested by your Department in a letter of January 4, 1960, we are submitting a progress statement as of December 31, 1959, concerning both field survey report and drawings for all authorized sites.
For every site, the drawings are now ninety percent complete and the estimated completion date is January 25, 1960.
As regards to the field survey reports, we are being held up by the lack of information concerning the power supply and communication facilities. The different companies have been contacted, but their reports are slow in coming in. However, pressure is being made and we estimate that by the end of January we will have completed those of Mt Carleton, Quebec, and Nicolet. The others should be ready by the third or fouth week of February.
