Deputy Minister,
Department of Transport,
Ottawa, Ontario

Dear Sir:

Re: Field Survey -
Gap Filler Stations

Would you please refer to the correspondence exchanged between our departments, your file 26-10-7, concerning a number of proposed Gap Filler Stations.Among the sites originally referred to you were three located at London, Ontario, Springton, PEI, and Scotch Settlement, New Brunswick. As a result of further investigation it has been found that they must be moved to new locations in order to meet electronic specifications. I am attaching three copies each of maps illustrating the new sites together with lists containing a complete description of each of the locations.

In order that the surveys at these proposed Stations which are to be known as London Relocated, Springton Relocated, and Scotch Settlement Relocated, may be carried out before winter conditions become serious, information respecting these three sites has been forwarded direct to your Regional Managers in Toronto and Montreal with the request that they, and our consulting engineers, visit the locations and obtain the owner's permission to carry out this preliminary work.

When the field surveys and soil investigations have been completed we will be in a position to provide you with a more accurate location and outline of the areas to be acquired.

Yours sincerely,

for Deputy Minister
