Western Radar Gap Fillers

As outlined in AMC QTO 5501 dated 1 Oct, we enclose herewith four (4) copies of Sketch No S-0-1084-1 showing details of box required for the cargo compartment of the B31 vehicles presently en route to your unit from Fingal.

Unfortunately as of this date, we have been unable to establish the exact dimensions of the B31 cargo compartment and all outside dimensions shown should be considered as indicative only with one exception and that is the height from the cargo compartment bed to the under-side of the cross support members of the box. In order that the materials can be handled in and out of the truck, this dimension should not be less than 5' 6".

Due to a change in policy in the conduct of this exercise, it will only be necessary to fit three (3) vehicles with the boxes and the remaining vehicle should be retained at your unit as a reserve or support vehicle in case of serious breakdown of any one of the other three.

It is intended to have the following named three (3) CE Officers, arriving your unit about 14 Oct and they will take delivery of the vehicles:

F/L EAC Fritach
F/L RF Maxon
F/O JD Pearce

Your co-operation in readying these vehicles for our use is appreciated.
