The comments contained in paragraph 2 of your memorandum dated 2 Oct are concurred in.
Assurance is given that the use of helicopters in this operation will be resorted to as a last resort for transportation and then only on absolutely essential tasks.
Enclosed herewith is the stencil amended as requested in your paragraph 3, sub-paragraph (3).
As it is hoped to commence the exercise next week, early issuance of the Directive would be appreciated.
