Dear Sirs:
In reply to your letter of 11 December 1959 and further to discussions between your Mr TW Mackey and our WR Alexander on 29 December, we would appreciate receiving the latitude, longitude and height of all fire towers in Northern Ontario between longitudes 46 and 51 degrees, as indicated on the attached photostat.
In addition, it is requested that district maps showing tower locations and line of visibility be forwarded for all of the above towers if available. In cases where coverage charts are not available, would it be possible to note the maximum distance visible from the tower and the distance and bearing to the nearest point on the line of visibility where nearly uniform coverage is not obtainable.
