Re: Soil Investigation - Maritimes Sites
Dear Sir:
Further to our telephone conversation of 6 February 1961, soil investigations for the approved Maritime sites will be carried out immediately. A portable drilling rig has been obtained for these investigations and we feel that one drilling company can give us the most economical job for the three sites. Scotch Settlement (Relocated) will be the first site where drilling will be carried out and this drilling will be carried out during the week of 13 February. It is anticipated that the other two sites will be completed prior to the end of February.
If weather conditions permits, we hope to obtain the additional field information with regard to cross sections for the re-alignment of the access road, etc at the time that the test holes are being laid out. We will keep you advised on the progress in this regard.
