Re: Building Keys
Gap Filler Radar Stations, Various
A summary of the building keys received from DCL for the various Gap Filler Radar Stations is attached. It is to be noted that this summary includes first and second issues by Armco and keys made by the general contractors. Question marks have been inserted where it cannot be confirmed by this office.
DCL have been requested to locate the missing original keys.
A second summary of the building keys is attached showing the correct site number and whether the keys are correct or have to be re-stamped. Until such time as all Yale Numbers from 1A101 to 1A122 have been located, it is proposed to re-stamp keys in hand regardless of origin. The re-stamping will be done only to the letters or figures which are now incorrect.
It is requested that arrangements be made for this re-stamping to be done in Ottawa on ten (10) sets of keys. Our Mr WR Alexander will provide the keys when required.
