Gap Filler Radar Stations - Ontario
The proposal to replace our fire lookout towers at the six sites named in your letter of June 26 by suitable DND towers has the approval of this Department.
It is understood that our towers will be dismantled by the DND contractors, and in the event that the new towers are no longer required for the defence purposes, that they be allowed to remain standing for fire lookout purposes.
