Gentlemen:

Re: Testing Services - Gap Filler
Radar Stations in Northwestern Ontario

We have reference to your proposal of March 20th, 1962, addressed to our Winnipeg Branch Office, in connection with DCL testing requirements at Gap Filler Radar sites in the Lakehead area, which has been passed to this Head Office for consideration. Your proposal has been accepted and we have issued a Contract for Performance of Work, Form DCL 46, authorizing the testing services required and providing for an expenditure of $350.00 based on the rates quoted.

We note you have not quoted a price for the supply of cylinder moulds for concrete testing. Would you please advise if your rate of $2.00 for compression tests includes the supply of moulds. If not, would you please quote a price per carton, which can be incorporated into the basis of payment.

The contract has been made out to your Winnipeg Head Office. Are we correct in doing this from your accounting point of view?

As the Gap Filler projects in the Lakehead area are under the supervision of our Winnipeg Branch Office all instructions concerning this contract will be communicated to you by our Branch Manager or his authorized representative.

Please note instructions concerning the submission of invoices to the Winnipeg Branch Office for certification.

Please indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the enclosed contract by returning one signed copy for our records.

Yours very truly,

DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION (1951) LIMITED

J D Jennison,
