Bridgetown and Summerville Centre - Equipment

As requested the Armco Steelox components received from the subject sites have been separated and brought on charge as ea 2 Ref 4S/5/Q5878 and ea 2 Ref 4S/5/Q5880 in accordance with the checking lists provided by your Hqs. Only two minor discrepancies were discovered as only one of Part No ST2 and 5 of Part No CA183 could be found. There should be a total of 8 of these pieces, two for each building.

No difficulties were experienced in checking the components although some of the corrugated cardboard covers were mutilated. A close examination indicated that the components had suffered no serious damage and they were recrated.

It may be of interest to note that Part No Q5880 is colour coded white for Bridgetown and black for Summerville Center and No Q5878 is colour colded red for Bridgetown and blue for Summerville Center. These colour markings were already on the cases when they were received from the contractor.

The depot is also holding a link fence assembly, some asphalt coated steel culvert pipes and one diesel generator assembly. The diesel generator assembly was received from Summerville Center (corrected to read St Joseph) and an IRV was raised for payment action only on authority of AFHQ leter 10-S95 (DCEP) 12 Oct 62. A copy of this letter together with a copy of our 36-00-10/1 (REC) 29 Oct are attached.
