DCEM has authorized freezing of all steelox components in stock for gap filler radar stations. Therefore no issues shall be made in future of steelox components from depots.

In addition to this it will be necessary to obtain some components from the manufacturer. Would you have the total requirement assessed against existing stock and determine the numbers and types of components that will be required from the manufacturer.

According to Min (1) certain existing components which are in excess supply can be modified to allow substitution for other components which are in short supply. We should check with AMC to determine what can be done to make these modifications, it the above is true, advising them at the same time the numbers of each type of component which should be modified.

There are 22 gap filler sites which will constructed in 1961. We should ensure that everything is done from this office to provide as many components as possible under the most economical means. This is one of the prime duties at this time.

Please make yourself familiar with details in Min (1).
