The following types of correspondence have been issued since 10 Apr 59 and classified SECRET for the 45 Gap Filler Radar Stations:

1. DND-8 to DCL for consulting engineering services including names only of 6 to 8 sites.

2. DCL Form 46-1, Contract for consulting engineering services to 6 consultants (no names are included as jobs as referred to by portions of a province, eg Easter Quebec).

3. General letters to consultants, including names only of 6 to 8 sites.

4. DND-9 to DCL for additions to contracts for consulting engineering services, including names only.

5. DCL Form 15A, Change Orders to contracts for consulting engineering services, including names only.

6. Correspondence from consultants to AFHQ dealing with general details (but not locations) of a group of sites.

7. Correspondence from consultants to DCL dealing with and including Progress Claims.

8. Correspondence within AFHQ dealing with programme items including names and locations and financial matters such as TB submissions.

A ruling is requested whether items (a) to (g) listed above may now be down graded to Unclassified.
