MINUTE SHEET

REFERRED TO: DECP

MINUTE (2)

As agreed in discussions between F/L W Brown - Mr W Alexander, forms DND-8, DCL 46-1, DND 9, and DCL 15A, dealing with the Gap Filler program may be unclassified provided they do not contain operational dates or reveal the overall system and its current status. Those forms which were reviewed by F/L Brown as examples did not contain such information and may be declassified.

General correspondence to and from engineering consultants may be considered in the same light. Your office, being the originator of the subject correspondence is responsible for reclassification and should determine that the information contained is in itself unclassified. Provided the material concerned does not reveal capability, operational dates and the program as a whole, suggest it be declassifed. That correspondence not falling within this category should be downgraded to "CONFIDENTIAL".
