Dear Sirs:

Receipt is acknowledge of your letter of 23 February 1960 and the enclosed forty five (45) sheets of Polaris Computations.

Your explanation of the method used to obtain the accuracy specified in the Statement of Services is appreciated, although it was realized from the beginning that due to the small area of the sites, the minimum distance of 200 feet between the monuments would produce some probable errors. On larger sites, such as airfields, we would normally use a minimum distance of 1,000 feet.

Your comments will be taken into consideration if similar work has to be performed on a future occasion.
