As you know, your installation at the subject site involves a small portion of land which is presently occupied by the Timmins Ski Club by License of Occupation issued by the Ontario Department of Lands and Forests.

Enclosed is copy of a letter dated October 27th received from the Ski Club from which you will note that permission to enter the property involved is granted your Department for construction purposes.

Yours truly,

Dear Sir:

Re: Department of National Defence Requirements
Gap Filler Radar Station - Timmins, Ontario

Replying to your letter of October 23rd, we have looked over your Drawings #53-1-1000-1 and T53-1-1001-1 and found that it takes over part of two ski runs at the crest of the hill, but no doubt it could be worse and we can make do with what is remaining. The Radar Station is essential for our defence and we therefore extend permission to enter this property for the Gap Filler Radar Station.

Yours very truly,

Dave Wemyss
