Gap Filler Radar Station Timmins, Ontario
Dear Sirs:
Confirming telephone conversation March 12 between your Mr G Pearson and our Mr WR Alexander, regarding locksets for the Standard Radar Building, Standard Power and Accommodation Building and Covered Entrance at the Gap Filler Radar Station at Timmins, it is requested that your Project Engineer be advised that the locksets specified in Para 6(g)(ii), Section 2, AFHQ Job 5069, shall be supplied in all cases. At Timmins, four Yale 9551xCTxBY22 are required for the steelox doors and two Yale 5307xLFxBY22 are required for the two covered entrance doors. It is to be noted that there are two covered entrance doors at Timmins due to site conditions whereas the normal number is one.
The general contractor at Timmins has apparently been instructed to order six Yale 9551 locksets and Armco Metal Drainage Products Ltd have asked for a clarification as it is not in accordance with other orders.
It is requested that this office be advised why the change was recommended.
