Please refer to your letter of 7 August, 1962, in which you enquired about security clearance respecting forestry observations from DND towers at Gap Filler Sites.
As you are now aware from our letter of 10 August, none of the joint towers will be erected at the Gap Filler sites until the deferment period is over. Therefore, it is considered that the question of security clearance of forestry observers need not be examined at this time. Would you please ensure that provincial and company officials are informed accordingly.
