Dear Sir:

Re: Gap Filler Radar Station, Tobermory

Regarding the grounding system at this site, tests were carried out on October 24, 1962 with the District Hydro Inspector present.

Two rods spaced 25 feet were driven in a low area, approximately 100 feet north of the security fence, and from the readings taken, a ground resistence of 92 ohms was obtained. An intermediate rod, driven to a depth of 4 feet, made no appreciable difference to the readings.

On verbal confirmation from yourself, we advised the site that the system was acceptable as far as completion of this contract was concerned.

Yours very truly,
