Gap Filler Radar Stations - Resiting
The attached draft letter to Secretary Treasury Board requests that TB Minute 566358, dated 29 Sep 60, be amended to delete 16 of the approved Gap Filler sites and substitute 16 relocated sites. Cost estimates for the relocated sites vary depending on location. The overall increase in cost for the 16 sites is estimated at $1,176,000.
A review of the changing operational factors which led to this resiting is attached as Appendix "A".
