It was a dream come true for Robert Blackburn and Charles Hopson. After forty-four years the two men from Southern Texas returned for a visit to the old radar site on Fox Harbour Hill. In 1958-59 they were stationed on the site as radio technicians with the United States Air Force. The two have kept in touch since their days as GIs and started to plan the trip last year. On August 8, 2003 the two arrived at St. Lewis and spent several days exploring the old site and visiting local residents.
