  10. Airman Garrison was a fellow medic at the 602nd AC&W Squadron - August 1962.
    Later, in 1963, he was given the task of checking the water quality around the base. An Army private was pulling guard duty with his trusy M-16 near where Garrison was working. The guard started playing "Cowboys and Indians" with his rifle and he shot Garrison in the chest killing him instantly.
