Details:

17 August 1957 - Cpl GA "Adrian" Doucette

Comments from Pat Doucette (now Lange):

My fathers name was Adrian Doucette and he was killed in an automobile accident just outside of RCAF Station Grostenquin on 17 August 1957. My father was an excellent baseball player and he was a pitcher for the Eagles ballteam. He was a Corporal and worked as an electrician at 2 Wing. He was also an avid photographer who captured every aspect of military life overseas.

Email message from Don Smith to Pat Doucette (now Lange)

You probably know your Dad was a pretty good pitcher on the Station baseball team . When he played, he was always telling his fielders to look out for the "oak tree" that was about 400 feet from home plate . After he died some of the guys were having a few beers one night, and decided to cut down the tree in his memory. So in the dark of night armed with fire axes, the deed was done. All the very best.
