4 August 1958 - F/O JR "Jimmy" Myers
Comments by Bob Mckay:
I was with 434 Squadron at 3 Wing, Zweibrucken, between September 1956 and November 1959. Jimmy Myers was an armament officer at 3 Wing and lived just down the hall from me in the single Officers quarters. He was either transferred to Sardinia, or was there on TD - I think the latter. He and another technical officer went snorkling in the waters off of Sardinia. Jimmy was not a strong swimmer and he drowned.
