Comments by Darlene Tomes:
My brother Jack (John Douglas Tomes) was born on October 3, 1947 and he was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He joined the air force at the age of seventeen and was posted to the base at Zweibrucken and he was killed in an automobile accident. He was engaged to marry a teacher on the base at the time of his death.
