F/O JD Ross was a pilot with 434 Squadron at 3 (F) Wing, Zweibrucken Germany. He was killed when his aircraft (Sabre #23376) crashed while trying to direct a rescue party to the crash site of F/L JC Richardson (non fatal) in Sabre aircraft #23505.
