F/O JS Myers was a pilot with 430 Squadron at 2 (F) Wing, Grostenquin France. He was killed when his aircraft (Sabre #23669) was involved in a mid-air collision with F/O Larry Mosher (non-fatal in aircraft 23673).

28 August 1957 - Mid-air collision this afternoon between F/O JS Myers and F/O Mosser, both of 430 Squadron. F/O Myers was killed, F/O Mossar parachuted to safety.
