A diminutive 21 year old hazel-eyed brunet from Egremonth, Alberta, LAW Clare Bell, was crowned Miss Grey Cup (Europe) tonight. A teletype operator at Hir Division HQ for the past year, she was selected by an international panel of judges from amongst twelve pretty airwomen from Air Division HQ, its radar squadron and the four (F) Wings.

The Annual Grey Cup (Europe) football game was held in Amos Stadium. The East defeated the West by a score of 28-13. LAW C Bell of Support Unit Metz (a Westerner) was elected Miss Grey Cup (Europe) and "kicked-off" along with A/C DAR Bradshaw. A gala parade with floats from all the Wings wound through Metz to the Stadium prior to the game.

The East hammered out a 28-13 decision here this afternoon to win the coveted Grey Cup (Europe) for the second year in a row and evened the series at three games apiece. The first game, played in 1955, ended in a scoreless tie. The game, played at Jean Amos stadium in Metz, attracted a crowd of Canadian, French, and American football fans, estimated at about 5,000.
