A query was raised from Moselle ATC to Salesman, regarding a radio active cloud over Strasbourg presumably caused by the atomic bomb tested by Russia at the beginning of the week. After many questions and few answers, Smallarm (N/SOC) advised Salesman at 1130Z/26 Oct that this was a simulated cloud. It was discovered that the French Air Ministry was playing a training exercise and only a few agencies were advised of the training aspect.
