Annual Budget - AWTI Decimomannu

Representatives of the Canadian, German and Italian Air Forces met in Decimomannu and at the Italian Air Ministry, Rome to discuss and approve the 1966 budget for the operation and maintenance of the AWTI Decimomannu. The budget this year totalled L2,529,105,244 and was the highest yet presented. Of this figure, L 2,377,598,844 was approved and the remainder was placed under reservation pending further substantiation. Under the terms of the Tri-National Agreement Canada is responsible to pay 25% of the costs which in Canadian funds amounts to approximately $1,100,000.00 Cdn.
Retirement - W/C WM Mills
The end of 1965 saw the departure of W/C WM Mills on retirement from the service following five and one-half years as SOAF, 1 Air Division.
