  23. Our 1957 Ford Zephir parked on a downtown street in Metz - May 1957.
    For all you car buffs, this British Ford Zephir was sporting a straight 6 cyl. with manual transmission. I had its top and rear painted white as two tone was in fashion. I installed a luggae carrier and replaced the hub caps with wire-wheel covers. I also installed two telescoping radio antennas on the rear fenders. Later, after the Russian launch, it was dubbed: "Le Spoutnique".
