2450 Aircraft Control and Warning Unit (Reserve)
Sherbrooke, PQ.

Classes were carried on during the winter twice weekly. Due to the lack of space future classes might have to be held four times weekly.

11 Nov 52

The Unit took part in the Armistice Parade along with the other local Units. Marching with the unit were the two Padres Father Moisan and Rev Elton Scott.

23 December 52

A Christmas party for orphans was held, and over a hundred orphans and underprivileged children were entertained.

31 Dec 52

The Officers' Mess held their annual New Years dance which was judged to be a success. On New Years Day the Officers' Mess and the Sherbrooke Reg't were joint hosts at a reception held in the mess.

4 May 53

Group Commander, G/C Archambault AFC and inspecting party visited the Unit for their annual inspection at which time the Unit performed more complicated drill for the first time completing a march past by flight, again in close column, and in advance and review order. The G/C complimented the Unit after the inspection.

31 May 53

Plans are completed for summer camp which 30 to 40 personnel are expected to attend.

RTTP recruits are being taken in for summer training, and it is expected that the Unit quota of 60 will be filled without difficulty.
