2 Jun 53

The Unit paraded with all other groups from Sherbrooke to Commemorate the Coronation. One member of the unit, LAC Laliberte was selected to represent the unit, and was present at the Coronation in London.

2 Jul 53

44 RTTP completed summer courses. After taking courses 28 passed their examinations. 18 members of this group have transferred to the auxiliary.

14 - 18 Jul 53

38 members of the Unit attended Summer Camp which was held at Mont Apica.

25 Aug 53

All the members of the RTTP were taken to St Hubert and were given a tour of the Station and a flight in one of the aircraft.

9 Sep 53

Unit commenced fall activities and lectures. Part of synthetic equipment has arrived and it is hoped that the balance will soon be received to facilitate training.

20 Sep 53

Unit celebrated Air Force Day along with Air Cadets and RCAF Association. Church services were held at St Peters Church and at the Roman Catholic Cathedral.

31 Oct 53

7 Officers and 5 ORs made a trip to Lac St Denis for week-end training. Due to poor weather no live interceptions were possible. Only 13 synthetic interceptions were completed because of faulty equipment.
