A Christmas Party was held for the children of the Sqn members.

Mr Moss, British Consul in Detroit proposed a toast to the President of the United States. Mr Weeks, American Consul in Windsor proposed a toast to the Queen at the New Year's Day Levee.

In January seventeen officers wrote Qualifying Examinations. Thirteen of the seventeen qualified.

The RTTP recruiting began in Jan. Of 240 candidates 83 were accepted. They began 40 hours of indoctrination in the first week of March.

We resumed cross training with the USAF in February.

Seven airmen wrote the Apr Trade Board and six were successful.

The Officer's of this unit again took an active part in the Garrison Officer's Ball which was held on 12 Apr.

On 10 May a reception was held in honour of the Right Honourable J Keiller MacKay, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario who presented Queen Scout Certificates to the Scouts of this district. The reception was held in the Officer's Mess in the evening.

The first Wedding Reception to be held in the Officer's Mess was that of F/O M Barber and his bride who were married on the 17th of May. F/O Barber is a pilot from RCAF Stn St Hubert.

The Sqn has enrolled a Senior Medical Officer, Security Officer, Accounting Officer, and two Clerk Accountants, two Service Police, nine Clerk Typists, and a disciplinary Cpl.
