At this time preparations are already starting in connection with the coming summer camp training which is to be held in July and the instructors have been briefed to that effect. We must bear in mind that the facilities offered in our present quarters are limited. Our permanent building at 114 St. John Street, which is at present being altered to Headquarters specifications, should be ready sometime in October. Courses are being given to new recruits regularly, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Also in June, Group Captain Archambault, AFC, inspected our Squadron and in his following address to the men congratulated the leaders of the Squadron for the good work done.

Summer Camp training was held at Sherbrooke in connection with exercise "SIGNPOST". Some sixty Officers and men were chosen for this period of training. The exercise was carried out according to Headquarters plan. Accomodations for personnel was very good. Courses in July and August were kept going at Laval University.

A parade was called out in honor of our particpants in the "Battle of Britain" on the 14th of September. The following Squadrons formed up at the Esplanade in Quebec at 1400 hours on that Sunday. They were:

His Excellency The Right Honorable Vincent Massey, Governor General of Canada, laid a wreath in memory of our dead in the Battle of Britain, this was done at the War Memorial on Grande Allée. The Governor General was followed by S/L Guy Plamondon who laid a wreath in the name of Quebec Radar Squadron and Quebec Flight Cadets. Mr Manuel F/O laid a wreath in the name of the Association of RCAF Veterans. The Governor General then reviewed the Squadrons and a March Past was carried out to the beat of the "Quebec 22nd Regiment Band".

On November the 2nd we occupied our new quarters at 114 St. John Street and at present the organization of the different branches is in progress.
On November the 9th our Squadron participated in a parade called out "in memory" on Armistic Day in the strength of 70 Officers and men.
Having in mind better training for the Controllers and the men, a trip to Mont Apica was organized by our Senior Officers. Accomodation was provided for our men by the Commanding Officer at that Station. Fake exercises were carried out by our men with the equipment offered by Mont Apica and a thorough inspection tour was conducted by the Chief Instructor of that Station.
