S/L G Taschereau, presented P/O JAR Lesage with his commission. P/O Lesage is the first officer to obtain his commission from the ranks of 2452 Squadron.

1 - 31 Jul 55

Summer Camp at Mont Apica. 28 Officers, 5 Airmen, 2 NCOS and 15 Airwomen attended.

6, 7,& 9 Sep 55

Special recruiting drive for Airwomen.

18 Sep 55

2452 formed up on d'Auteuil St with detachments from St Sylvestre, CARDE, CEPE and members of the RCAF Association to parade at the Cross of Sacrifice in honour of the participants in the "Battle of Britain". The parade was inspected by the Governor General, His Excellency, the Right Honourable Vincent Massey, who after laid a wreath at the foot of the memorial. W/C EL Baudoux, DSO, DFC, Cd, CO CARDE; S/L Taschereau, CO 2452; the Mayor of Quebec and the RCAF Ass'n also laid wreaths. The RCAF Pipe Band from Rockcliffe lead the parade in the march past, W/C Badoux taking the salute with the Mayor. The Pipe Band later gave a short concert on Dufferin Terrace for the general public. Unfortunately inclement weather forced it's cancellation, although some three hundred persons were in attendance.

3 & 5 Oct 55

Recruiting for Aircraft Controllers from Aircrew and University undergraduates of Quebec.

3 Nov 55

Staff personnel from Mont Apica visited the Unit for training conference.

13 Nov 55

Armistice Day Parade on the Esplanade at 1430. 2452 together with detachments from the three services attended the special service. At 1130 on the same day members of 2452 attended a special graveside service at Mount Herman cemetary at the graves of deceased RAF and USAAF personnel.
