A/V/M JL Plante, CBE, AFC, CD, visited this unit after inspecting the RCAF detachments at CARDE and CEPE.

The usual At Home reception was given by the Officers of 2452 for Officers and dignitaries of Quebec.

The annual children's party was given by the unit to all children of members of 2452 Squadron.
13 Jan 56
F/L RW Hill, Regular Support Officer, was posted from 2452.
3 Jan 56
F/O RV Furneaux taken on strength of 2452 as RSO to replace F/L Hill.

A Dining In Night was held at the Chateau Bonne Entente at which 124 persons were in attendance. After the dinner, the mess members and their guests returned to 2452 Officers' Mess where a dance was held. S/L C Yarnell and F/L JH MacLean represented Mont Apica.

A/M CR Slemon, CB, CBE, CD, visited the unit, after addressing members of the United Services Institute in the Armouries on 'Air Operations'. 29 Officers from 2452 were at the lecture in uniform.
22 May 56
Annual Inspection by G/C JADB Richer, DFC, CD, in the Armouries. After the parade G/C Baxter Richer was entertained in the Officers' Mess.
