Battle of Britain Parade. 2452 AC&W Sqn paraded at the Cross of Sacrifice at 1500 hours to be inspected by the Governor General, His Excellency the Right Honourable Vincent Massey. Other detachments were from CARDE, CEPE, RCAF Station St Sylvestre, the Sillery Kiwanis Air Cadet Squadron and the RCAF Association. Several wreaths were laid at the cenotaph. W/C Lecomte, Commanding Officer of RCAF Station St Sylvestre, took the salute at the march past, which was lead by the band of the Royal 22nd Regiment.

Officers' Mess "Dining-in" night. Distinguished guests on this occasion were His Excellency the Honourable Gaspard Fauteux, Lt-Governor of the Province of Quebec and Colonel and Mrs JP Martin. After the dinner, which was held at La Porte St Jean, His Excellency presented "Initiation Beer Mugs" to new officers of the unit.
