Basket Distribution
On 23 Dec 59, Sqn personnel distributed 20 baskets of groceries, to poor families in Quebec City. The groceries had been collected among Sqn personnel benevolently. The list of these families was obtained from one of the local welfare organizations.
This act of charity was very well received by Sqn personnel, specially among the younger members, who saw poverty for the first time as it really is.

Queen's Levy
On the first of Jan 60, officers from the Army and Navy visited the Unit in the traditional way. The result was very rewarding, and throughout the year, it became evident that local relations between Army, Navy and Air Force were at their best.
Other Functions
From Jan to May 60, the Sqn held, in the form of entertainment, several dances, two "Dining-In" suppers, and a Sqn Mess Dinner. There was nothing special, since the Sqn was in full training, and that mess funds were spared in April and May, for the coming celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Sqn in Jun, which is also closing our training season.
