On the 5 Mar 61, the Squadron invited the President of the Canadian Senate, Honourable Mark Drouin, to a dinner at "Le Chateau Bonne-Entente", Quebec, PQ. By the same occasion, Honourable Drouin presented the Canadian Service Decoration to seven Squadron Officers.
The dinner was the most elaborate social function ever held at this Unit. The Officers who were decorated are: F/L Goudreault, F/L Belley, F/L McGoldrick, F/L Perron, F/L Dunne, F/L Gingras, and S/L Cote.
No other function or event of historical interest has taken place at this Unit.
