June 54

Preparations being made for Summer Camp orginally intended to be at Falconbridge but subsequently changed to Edgar. P/O DPM Murray promoted to F/O eff 14 Jun. F/O RS Turner transferred from 402 (LB) Sqn (Aux) as a Controller. F/O JD Campbell Controller also TOS. ADC visit from F/L MH Jordan Telecom. Trade Board written.

July 54

F/O CE Johnson promoted to F/L eff 1 July 54. Summer Camp attendance was good and very informative. Telecom personnel became acquainted with several new pieces of equipment. With no great number of serviceable AC available, Controllers lacked the opportunity for intercepts they could have had. On behalf of FCOs special mention should be made of Cpl Stancliffe, a WD FtrCOp supervisor whom, while maintaining firm discipline, also showed great patience, understanding and willingness to explain the smallest details asked of her, that she gained the liking & respect of all Auxiliary FtrCOps who worked under her for not only allowing them to learn a little more but also making them happy while doing it.
