F/L Gray, F/O Munro and F/O Firth proceeded on TD to RCAF Stn Hamilton for synthetic training with 2424 AC&W Sqn (Aux).

F/L's McDonald, Williams, Gray and F/O Munro proceeded on TD to RCAF Stn Clinton for synthetic training.
F/O Brough, Unit Education Officer, announced that a contest is being conducted to selet a Squadron Badge designed by a member of the Auxiliary. The competition is open to all ranks and will close 31 Dec 57.

F/L's Hanson and McMahen of ADC HQ and F/L Stables and WO Evans of Training Command visited RCAF Stn London and 2420 AC&W Sqn (Aux).

S/L FR Sarty, Staff Officer Ground Training at ADC HQ visited the Squadron to confer with S/L Geary.

A two-week course for Fighter Controllers commenced 29 Jul under the direction of F/O M McCrank, Regular Support Officer. Twelve Controllers took the course.

By the end of July three RTTP trainees had ceased training.

S/L Geary, Commanding Officer, was employed on Special Duty for the period 22 - 26 Aug for the purpose of administration duties.

Trade examinations for RTTP trainees were held 26 Aug 57.
28 Aug 57
A graduation parade for RTTP trainees was held on the Station parade square 28 Aug 57. Parents of the graduates, civic officials of London, and representatives of the district high schools attended the ceremonial parade. Reviewing Officer was W/C AG Lawrence, DFC, AFC,CD, Senior Reserve Co-ordinating Officer, ADC HQ. Proficiency awards were presented by G/C AD Haylett, AFC, CD, formerly Commanding Officer of 22 WgHQ (Aux), now disbanded.
Presentation of Class Cup Awards was made by the Commanding Officer, S/L JK Geary, CD.
W/C Lawrence and S/L Moir of ADC HQ visited the Squadron in order to discuss plans for fall training.

Fall training was resumed 5 Sep 57. A get-together was held in the Airmen's Club.

A farewell presentation to F/O DJ Parker, transferring to the Supplementary Reserve, was held in the Officers' Mess.

A Squadron dance was held in the drill hall. RCAF Stn Aylmer dance band provided the music.
