INFORMATION
Because a number of amendments to the Organization Order for 2424 Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron (Auxiliary) RCAF (2424 AC&W Sqn (Aux)) are necessary, it has been decided that, for clarity and ease of reference, the organization of this Unit will be re-defined.
INTENTION
To re-define the organization of 2424 AC&W Sqn (Aux), Hamilton, Ontario.
EXECUTION
Effective Date
The provisions of this OrgO are to become effective 1 Dec 53.
Role
The role of this Sqn is to:
Command
The officer appointed to command 2424 AC&W Sqn (Aux) is to be the Commanding Officer as defined by QR(Air) art 1.02 (xxi)(a)(iii).
Control
Control of this Sqn is to be exercised by the AOC ADC throug the CO 16 Wing Headquarters, (Auxiliary) RCAF, Hamilton, Ont.
ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS
Establishment
Establishment codes 120 AM 606 and 220 AM 606 (formerly 4659-2424 and R101 ACWA) are to remain in effect.
Personnel
The transfer or posting of both of personnel is to be arranged by AFHQ and ADCHQ.
Accounting
Pay and materiel accounting are to be provided by the CO RCAF Station Hamilton.
Expenditures are to be charged to Vote 600, except for pay and allowances, and travel and transporation expenses, for Auxiliary Force personnel which are to be charged to Vote 601.
For the purpose of QR(Air) Art 205.30 and AFAO F5.30 this Sqn is not designated a flying unit.
Supply
The provision of materiel is to be arranged by the AOsC ADC and AMC.
Accommodation
Working and domestic accommodation are to be provided by the CO RCAF Stn Hamilton.
