CONTROL

Control of 2442 AC&W Squadron is exercised by the Commander, 5 Air Division HQ through the Commanding Officer, 19 Wing Headquarters (Auxiliary).

FUNCTION

The present function of 2442 AC&W Sqn is:

  1. To train Auxiliary Force personnel in all aspects of aircraft control and warning operations.

  2. Maintain and operate radar and communications facilities as directed by the Group Commander, 5 Air Division Headquarters.
