The following photographs depict the mobile radar equipment we took up to the Haliburton Highlands in July 1952. Personnel from 2424 AC&W Squadron (Auxiliary Reserve Squadron from Hamilton Ontario) set up the equipment a mile or so out of the town of Haliburton, Ontario. The first four photos show the mobile equipment with tents and radar antenna. The next three photos show the VHF mast and Direction Finding Unit. The last two photos are of the radar scope (PPI). We stayed at the Valhalla Lodge a few miles from the site.
