8 GObC Unit, St. John's, NF

8 GObC Unit, located in St. John's NF, was opened on 11 June 1954 and was disbanded in January 1955. 80 GObC Detachment, located in Gander NF, opened on 11 June 1954 and was redesignated as 72 GObC Squadron in January 1955.

F/L GW Hynes was based at St. John's, NF while all the rest were based in Gander, NF.
