INFORMATION

Certain changes in function and organization of some RCAF formations and units have been made in the 1949-50 Programme of Activities. It has been decided to re-issue Organization Orders to avoid numerous amendments and to define more clearly the functions and responsibilities of formations and units.

INTENTION

To edit and renumber the Organization Order for 1 R&C Unit.

EXECUTION

Function

To provide radar and communications training for Reserve technical officers and airmen in accordance with the syllabus, including those required by 401 and 438(F) Squadron.

Command

The officer appointed to command RCAF Station St Hubert is to be the Commanding Officer of this Unit as defined by KR (Air) para 2 (xv).

The officer appointed to command 1 Radar and Communications Unit RCAF Reserve is to be the Officer Commanding as defined by KR(Air) para 2 (xxxviii).

Control

Functional and administrative control are to be exercised by the AOC TC through the Commanding Officer RCAF Station St Hubert.

ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS

Establishment

Establishment 4636 1 RC is to become eff 1 Apr 49.

Personnel

The transfer and posting of personnel is to be arranged by AFHQ and the AOC TC.

Accommodation

Accommodation is to be arranged by the AOC TC.

Accounting

Pay and allowances are to be in accordance with that laid down for the RCAF Reserve.

Expenditures are to be charged to Vote 601.

Pay and equipment accounting are to be carried out by RCAF Station St Hubert.

Equipment and Supplies

The AOC TC is to arrrange for the supply of equipment, stationary, and publications required by this unit.
