Coronation parade held - Auxiliary in parade in Toronto all day.

RTTP (B) Personnel commenced service.

RTTP(B) Trade Examinations results were:
ComPC(G) 16 passed 4 failed
ComPC(A) 12 passed 5 failed
RdrPC(G) 13 passed 6 failed
FtrCOp 50 passed 15 failed.

Regular Force trade examinations. Three wrote and all failed:
LAC O'Neill RdrTech 1(O) failed 45%
LAC Threlfal RdrTech 1(O) failed 44%
LAC Scharf Rdr Tech 1(O) failed 41%

ComPC(G) Gp1 - AC1 Kasner 65% passed, LAC O'Keefe 51% failed
Sed Police - 3 wrote and all failed.
Clk Acct (Sup) Gp2 - AC1 Turner 50% failed.
Discip Gp 2 - A/Cpl Camley 63% passed, A/Cpl Young 81% passed
LAC KED Adams passed remuster exam from ComPC (G) 2 to ComTech (G) 2.

Officer self-improvement program commenced in General Service Knowledge and Technical Trades. Planning started for the anticipated move early in the spring of 1954 to new quarters - building now under construction. Trade advancement classes inaugurated for both the regular force as well as the Auxiliary.
