APPENDIX "A" - Org Chart
INFORMATION
- Because of numerous changes to this unit’s order to date and the decision to adopt a new nomenclature and numbering system for radar sites, it has been decided to re-write the OrgO for this unit.
INTENTION
- To re-write the OrgO for 32 Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron.
EXECUTION
Effective Date
- 32 Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron was formed on an administrative basis eff 1 Sep 52. ADCHQ has advised that the Squadron is to commence its operational function effective 20 Oct 52.
Functions
- The function of this unit is:
(a) to provide control facilities for fighter squadrons of ADC.
(b) to collect, evaluate and display information on the air situation within its area of responsibilities for use by military agencies and Civil Defence authorities.
[c] to provide early warning services within the area of surveillance.
(d) to commit such Air Defence forces as may be assigned to it when authorized to do so.
Command
- The officer appointed to command 32 Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron, Foymount is to be the Commanding Officer as defined by QR (Air) Article 1.02 (xxi).
Control
- Functional and administrative control of this Radio Station is to be exercised by the AOC ADC.
ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS
Establishment
- Establishment 6214 GCIF became effective 1 Sep 52.
Personnel
- The transfer and/or posting of personnel is to be arranged by AFHQ and ADCHQ.
Supply
- The provision of materiel is to be arranged by ADCHQ and AMCHQ, in accordance with CAP 16 Vol. I.
Accounting
- This unit is self accounting for pay and equipment.
- Expenditures are to be charged to Vote 600.
