Transfer of responsibility of Armouries in Grand Falls and Corner Brook from CFB Halifax to 226 AC&W Squadron Gander. 770 RCAC Gander and 774 RCAC Squadron St. Anthony were organized and this unit took on the parent unit responsibilities.

DCL (1951) Ltd. held an on site meeting for the construction of Naval Operations Building awarded Inspiration Construction Company, Ottawa. Cost of project $1,800,000.00 to be completed by Sep 68. BCEO at 226 AC&W Squadron was appointed BCEO for the project.
